Xtreme Angling had a booked salmon season with solid success on almost every trip. We utilized a new technique for the Sacramento River this season with flashers and Brad’s cut plug lures and it was successful. But, now it’s time for the next season, STURGEON!
Xtreme-Angling will be chartering sturgeon starting early January, 2017 and into mid March.
Xtreme Angling recently conducted a scouting trip in the Rio Vista, CA area which resulted in many marks on the graphs and keeper sturgeon and striper success.
Xtreme Angling usually fishes the Rio Vista area but we will travel to where ever the bite maybe best.
We use 50lb Xtreme Braid with 60lb mono leaders. We run both Phenix Abyss and C4 custom built rods out of Northern California paired with Penn Fathom and Avet lever drag reels on a custom balance beam rod holding system.
With an amazing fall sturgeon season and the early rains we have experienced I am expecting an amazing Sturgeon season and look forward to providing all my clients the opportunity to catch the fish of their dreams.
